In action

Every classic machine

The drum machines
that defined a decade.

From the Linn LM-1 that powered Prince, to the Oberheim DMX behind Run-DMC, to the E-mu SP-12 that built hip-hop, to the RX5 that shaped synth-pop — we re-sampled the source machines through vintage hardware chains to capture the exact thump, snap, and weight that made them legends.

100 Drum kits

A hundred pre-mixed, pre-processed kits spanning every iconic 80s drum machine. Drop one in and instantly sit in the era.

155 Factory patterns

Ready-to-play grooves covering pop, rock, funk, electro, synth-pop, early hip-hop, and R&B. Swap the kit, keep the pattern.

32 Step sequencer

Full 32-step sequencer with per-step velocity, pan, note length, pitch, and reverb send control.

Sequel 2 Global FX and Reverb page
Global FX + Reverb

Glue the whole kitwith one chain.

A full master chain built into the plugin — 3-band EQ, compressor, bit crusher, sample-rate reducer, drive, and reverb. Dial in that pressed-to-vinyl glue, cassette warmth, and the 12-bit crunch that made 80s drum machines sound unmistakable.

Push the compressor hard for that smashed gated-snare sound, drop the sample rate for lo-fi grit, or keep it clean for a polished pop mix — the whole chain is there, ready to shape.

32-step sequencer

Program the groove,step by step.

The built-in 32-step sequencer lets you program drum patterns with velocity, pan, note length, pitch, and reverb send per step. Draw velocity curves with a mouse drag, detune a single hit, extend a snare roll — every parameter is on the grid.

Drag any pattern from the sequencer straight into your DAW timeline or desktop as a MIDI file — build full arrangements from there, or swap the kit and let the same pattern take on a whole new character.

Sequel 2 Multi Out routing and per-pad assignment
Multi out routing

Every drumon its own channel.

Drag the Multi Out button onto any pad to give it its own dedicated stereo output in your DAW. Kicks, snares, hats, percussion — each gets their own mixer strip for external compression, parallel processing, sidechain setups, or full hardware outboard routing.

Every pad also carries its own volume, pan, pitch, release, reverb send, HP/LP filters, solo, and mute, plus a waveform display with trim and reverse for shaping transients and flipping hits.

Controls helper

Every parameter,explained on hover.

Hover the mouse over any control and an instant popup appears — showing what the parameter does and its current value. No digging through manuals, no guessing, no breaking the flow of a session.

It's the kind of detail that turns a deep plugin into one you can start making beats with in the first five minutes — exactly the way the best hardware drum machines always felt.
